How Does Stein Eriksen Residences differ from Stein Eriksen Lodge?
The new Stein Eriksen Residences offers many of the traditions synonymous with its legendary namesake. For more than 30 years, Stein Eriksen Lodge has set and maintained the benchmark of unparalleled luxury and uncompromised service. The Residences is chic and contemporary in design, reflecting a quintessential ‘modern luxury’ look and feel. Like the Lodge, the Residences is a ski-out/ski-in property located in the heart of Deer Valley with a more exclusive feel to the property.
How far is Stein Eriksen Residences from Stein Eriksen Lodge?
Stein Eriksen Residences is located in Park City and is slopeside of Deer Valley Resort. Stein Eriksen Residences and Stein Eriksen Lodge are approximately one mile apart, with a complimentary shuttle service that runs between the two properties from 7 am to 11 pm.
Does Stein Eriksen Residences charge for a rollaway bed?
Yes, the Residences charges $35 + tax per night for guests to use a rollaway bed. Rollaway beds can be requested at time of booking, or any time prior to and upon arrival to the property. Advance notice is preferred.
Are all of the Residences homes?
No, within Stein Eriksen Residences there are a variety of lodging options and configurations, including expansive private homes, spacious condominium suites, and luxurious individual rooms.
What is the difference between Platinum and Premium rooms?
Both room types feature a plush king bed, a spacious private bathroom, and a kitchenette, including a sink, mini-refrigerator, coffee maker, and microwave for convenience. The Platinum room offers the additional luxuries of more square footage, a mountain view, an additional sitting area that offers a pull-out sofa or a rollaway bed, and a linear fireplace.
Which run is the ski-out/ski-in access point, and how difficult is that run?
Stein Eriksen Residences is situated between two Deer Valley Resort runs. Silver Dollar Ski Trail is an easy green run that skis into the property, and Last Chance Ski Run is a blue intermediate run that skis by and out of the property. All Stein Eriksen Residences private homes are ski-out/ski-in, and all condominium suites and rooms have direct ski-out/ski-in access from the North Building. Skiers should be comfortable skiing a blue intermediate run to ski out of the property and down to Snow Park Lodge at Deer Valley.

How far is Deer Valley Resort Ski School?
Ski School is located at Deer Valley Resort’s Snow Park Lodge, which is just a ten-minute ride in our complimentary shuttle. Or, guests can ski down to Snow Park Lodge from Stein Eriksen Residences on the blue intermediate ski run, Last Chance. Please be aware that ski school lessons fill up quickly. We recommend you make your reservation in advance.
